Based on Gadubanud Country on the boundary of the Eastern Maar and Wadawurrung nations on the south west coast of Victoria, Doug Humann brings 30 years leadership experience in the NGO “for purpose” sector, in conservation, Traditional Owner land and sea management, and natural resource management / catchment management authorities. Doug has been a prominent public and private advocate for environmental and Indigenous issues, maintaining wide-ranging connections in government, the public, private and philanthropic sectors, and also environmental, pastoral and mining sectors in all states and territories. Doug Humann was made a Member in the Order of Australia (AM), recognising his significant service to conservation and the environment.

Based in Kanamaluka / Launceston, Sarah is a Wadawurrung woman of the Kulin Nations of western Victoria. Sarah leads on behalf of her own mob, including as co-CEO of Wadawurrung Traditional Owner Aboriginal Corporation, Treaty Officer and Board Member of the Great Ocean Road Authority. She draws on 25 years experience supporting Healthy Country Planning with communities across Australia, and establishing equitable partnership between communities and governments, businesses, philanthropy and conservation organisations

He has been a director of a number of organiand sits sations, advisory councils and peak bodies, including founding Chair Karrkad Kandji Trust in Arnhemland, Bush Heritage Australia, WWF Australia, current Board Member of

He is a past member of the Commonwealth Threatened Species Scientific Committee and the NSW Biodiversity Advisory Committee. He was the founding Chairman of the Karrkad Kandji Trust in Arnhemland and is a current director of the Northern Australia Indigenous Land and Sea Management Alliance based in Darwin.

He is passionately committed to the management of introduced invasive species as they represent the single biggest threat to our national native biota.
