Guy is a third-generation farmer based on Wiradjuri Country in the central west of NSW. He works to achieve both agricultural production and biodiversity outcomes. He has been a director and committee member of several peak environmental and agricultural organisations including the Commonwealth’s Threatened Species Scientific Committee, NSW Biodiversity Advisory Committee, Meat and Livestock Australia, Australian Rangelands Society, Northern Australia Indigenous Land and Sea Management Alliance and Bush Heritage Australia. He was the founding Chairman of the Karrkad Kandji Trust in Arnhemland and is a governor of WWF-Australia. He is passionately committed to the management of introduced invasive species as they represent the single biggest threat to our national native biota.
