Based on Gadubanud Country on the boundary of the Eastern Maar and Wadawurrung nations on the south west coast of Victoria, Doug Humann brings 30 years leadership experience in the NGO “for purpose” sector, in conservation, Traditional Owner land and sea management, and natural resource management / catchment management authorities. Doug has been a prominent public and private advocate for environmental and Indigenous issues, maintaining wide-ranging connections in government, the public, private and philanthropic sectors, and also environmental, pastoral and mining sectors in all states and territories. Doug Humann was made a Member in the Order of Australia (AM), recognising his significant service to conservation and the environment.
